Cyclovia Block Party

Cyclovia is all about playful community activity and interaction. As 4th Avenue became car free for several miles on Nov. 1, 2015, up to 50,000 people on bikes and foot ventured through the neighborhoods.  Northwest and Feldman’s Neighborhoods created a block party at the event to enjoy acoustic music, a bike cafe and dance to meet neighbors and celebrate collaborative green streets efforts. Neighbors painted the streets, decorated bikes, showcased the green streets, and had a free drawing for trees. Thank you to our neighbors for volunteering, including music by Sugar Hill Ramblers! Cyclovia takes place in different parts of the city twice each year. We look forward to next time!
